Sox Lose

Tough loss, but fun night nonetheless. On to Mount Washington Valley, NH tonight.

FENWAY PARK

We arrived at Fenway this afternoon and watched batting practice near the Green Monster. I haven't been to Fenway for a baseball game since 1991. It's great to be back with our boys.

The Hall

Camped last night at Glimmerglass State Park near Cooperstown. Came back to the Hall this morning to grab a few pictures. On now to Fenway to see the Sox tonight.

Niagara Falls

We travelled Canada's King's Highway through Ontario this evening and arrived at Niagara Falls around 10 pm. We'll go back in the morning for the full view and hiking tour of the Falls. Then it's on to Cooperstown, NY and the baseball hall of fame.

Tigers Win

Nice day at the ballpark. Tigers won 6-2. On to Niagara Falls this evening via Toronto, Canada.

Tigers v. Indians

We've been driving the Midwest under torrential rain for two days. Our Twins game was rained out Tuesday. And the forecast called for more rain up north. So we came over to Detroit this afternoon to catch an old fashioned day game. We were rewarded with sunshine.

Go Tigers!

Wrap Up

Made it to Sundance, WY by 11 pm.

Had a terrific day. Will start off tomorrow with a trip to Nearby Devil's Tower National Monument. Then on to Crazy Horse and Mt. Rushmore. Camping in South Dakota's Badlands NP tomorrow night. Not much driving tomorrow (nice change of pace).

Little Bighorn NM

Wild Horses

Amazing. We came across a herd of wild horses at Little Bighorn Battlefield National Monument this evening.

Beartooth Scenic Byway

I may, or may not have shot this clip while driving. Probably not.

Day 2 - Yellowstone to Montana

Taking a break near Billings, MT on a warm, sunny, Sunday afternoon. Rest area lunch has never tasted so good.

We spent the morning driving through the northeast corner of Yellowstone - saw plenty of bison and waterfalls along the way. Lots and lots of green!

We entered Montana by way of the Beartooth Scenic Byway. This was easily the scariest drive of my life. Narrow two lane roads with high snowbanks on either side (tight). We traversed dozens of switchbacks to nearly 11,000 ft. Unbelievable views of glacier carved valleys from up top.

Long drive to the Mt. Rushmore area tonight.
