I was talking with a friend (Annie) at work today and she told me about a tag challenge she decided to participate in. It sounded like a ton of fun and it made me want to join. I think perhaps 5 people read this blog, occasionally. I double dare you to accept this challenge.

This game involves a few of my favorite things: handmade goods, creativity, and gift-giving. Here are the tagging instructions: The first five people to respond to this post will get something made by me! My choice. For you. This offer does have some restrictions and limitations:

1- I make no guarantees that you will like what I make!
2- What I create will be just for you.
3- It'll be done this year. (might be a little while)
4- You have no clue what it's going to be. It may be a story. It may be poetry or an article on properly cleaning your face before a masque. I may draw or paint something. I may bake you something and mail it to you. Who knows? Not you, that's for sure!

Funny times ahead

Got tickets early today for the Flight of the Conchords show, 5/17/09 – Salt Lake City, UT – Abravanel, Hall. Simple pleasures but this little success totally made my day.

Super Bowl plus 3 birthdays

Here are a few photos from our yearly Super bowl party, good food and fun. Thank goodness for the 4th quarter. The annual party is usually combined with one or two birthdays. This year we tacked on three. Can you figure out which one is the punk?!

I challenged myself to ski new areas at Alta Saturday. I did a lot of hiking and worked hard. I left exhausted but really thrilled by the experiences of the day.

I snapped pictures on my way up to the "Castle Apron." Spectacular!
